Why Do Our Parents And Children Love Us

All children learn best through play, and Little Oaks encourages, nourishes and nurtures my children. Whatever the weather they come home with a new memory.

We love bringing our son to Little Oaks every day. He absolutely loves it and comes home very happy, if not a little tired! Debbie and the team look after each child so well and we are confident that our son is learning and developing whilst having loads of fun every day.

Creating Healthy Habits with Extra Curricular Dance and Sport

It's not just Early Years Education that matters, your child's physical development is important too. Here at Little Oaks Pre-School we have an enriching and holistic timetable, including extra-curricular activities like sports, singing and dance.
Every week on a Thursday we are joined by Kat Loaker of Kaptiv8 Singing Academy, who encourages the children through energetic, fun singing and dancing sessions which the children really adore.
Once a fortnight, Amy Bullen from Top Coaching challenges the children with a new sport, from foam fencing to tag rugby, street hockey to tennis. They learn to work as a team and burn off some of their excess energy too! The kids love these fast paced activities and it helps build the foundation of healthy habits for later in life.

Save Time With our Healthy Home Cooked Lunches

You are welcome to send your child with a healthy packed lunch however, you can save yourself the hassle as Jayne, our chef, cooks wonderfully fresh, home-made meals for the children daily.

With a 5* food hygiene rating and using the Safer Food, Better Business scheme, you can be assured your little one is well nourished and safely fed.

It's really simple, just pre-order your child's meals in advance and choose from the hot or cold option and a pudding. Our friendly pre-school team will help and encourage your child to clear their plate and our positive reward system encourages them to practise their table manners, like sitting at the table nicely, using nice manners and using their cutlery etc.

"I feel an enormous sense of fulfilment when I watch the children tucking in to a meal I have prepared. This feeling is magnified when I think back to how far some of the children's eating habits have changed and expanded since beginning at Little Oaks. Children are always watching what their friends are doing, so they are so much more willing to try new foods. We sit together for our meals , just like a family should, enjoying each others company, being social. I hear the children using manners, asking for things to be passed, and using Please and Thank you without being reminded to do so. Meal times are a learning experience too!"
